LTECH – Lifting Technology has accomplished exceptional project for one of Moscow printing offices. By request of LTECH Italian manufacturer SAFI designed and produced special indoor service elevator based on standard Zenith MC hoist.

New production space of printing office is located in old 3-storey building that is under construction. Until recently there was no connection between floors except stares, so client faced serious problem with lifting weights – pallets with papers and extra-large heavy paper-rolls about 5 m length. Building of typical service elevator in shaft was considered too costly.

In search of alternative solution, printing house applied to LTECH experts. After inspection of the site Company offered to design an in-shaft elevator on the base of construction hoist produces by SAFI – well-known LTECH partner in Russia. The machine mast lift weights about 2 tones on the height of 15,5 metres and provide easy and fast loading-unloading of large materials from one floor to another. Minding these purposes SAFI engineers extended standard Zenith MC 2000 platform length from 3 to 5 metres and equipped it with useful folding boards. Three remote controls for floor-to-floor elevator calling were also provided.

Assembling of the hoist took place in rather restricted shaft space with access from the first floor. 3-day installation works were made by four LTECH specialists with good experience in hoists assemblage. At the present time project is already finished, elevator passed commissioning and is going to be taken into permanent use soon. According to SAFI this hoist is made to non-problem service many years.
