Management of annual Russian music awards “Muz-TV 2009” hired MEC 1932 ES scissor lift from “LTECH – Lifting Technology”. The lift with working height about 8 meters became main element of unforgettable performance “Solntse” (“Sun”) of Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak.

Top of the scissor lift was equipped with small round stage, basement of MEC was draped and it seemed like stage with singer on it hanged in the air. Thank to smoothness of movement, lift well managed the task and became beautiful decorative element of the stage and bright surprise in singer’s performance.

Scissor lift was hidden under the stage and in the moment of glory it suddenly raised Ani up to 6 meters. Despite of altitude seemed like Ani wasn’t scared at all. She performed perfectly. During the sound check managers noted lift‘s capability to move smooth. It guaranteed singer glamorous and safe show.

Participation in “Muz-TV 2009” is not the first LTECH case storey concerning use of MEC machines for unusual applications. Two years ago several MEC scissor lifts turned into nests and boats was performing in front of Vladimir Putin and Yuri Luzhkov at annual celebration of Moscow birthday.
